Planet Bid online auctions are now active again with some major changes. Planet Bid will from now on be open for bidders from Australia, New Zealand, UK, US, Canada, Japan, China, France and Germany.

To work out the price increments for different currencies in different sites we had to make significant changes in the price structure. We did our best to keep the increment as low as possible. We took the most expensive currency, the UK Pound, and found the lowest possible amount which will work in with the other currencies Planet Bid operates in.

The price increment for PlanetBid.co.uk will be £0.04,
PlanetBid.com USD 0.06 (rounded from 0.058),
PlanetBid.com.au AUD 0.09 (rounded from 0.089)
and NZD 0.11(rounded from 0.113) for PlanetBid.co.nz

This means that the final price of the item will be higher but also users would have to place less bids to win the item. Planet Bid will keep supporting charity organizations with 10% of the final price to be donated to the charity organization of the winner’s choice.
